With CONDUCTO®, the problems of electrostatic charging are a thing of the past. The best technical solution to the problem has so far been to use monofilament weft wires filled with graphite, although this did not guarantee one-hundred-percent, long-term reliable grounding.
GKD's innovative woven mesh, tested according to the ATEX Norm Class 3, grounds the belt reliably throughout the whole production process. This is made possible by bronze wires woven into the mesh along the running direction. The special weave structure ensures that there is no deterioration of the belt's discharging properties, even after long service times or under great mechanical strain.
